Remembering these inspiring words and as a mark of respect to the former President and Missile Man of India, A.P.J Abdul Kalam's birth anniversary was celebrated with great enthusiasm by BVMites, CHD.RD,Ludhiana in which wide array of virtual intellectual activities were held .Ms.Rachna( Science Teacher) in her speech revealed the struggling life , determination, dedication and sacrifices of the great man. To pay tribute to the great scientist Students of classes I - II dressed up like astronauts. Drawing and craft on space scenes were beautifully presented by the students of classes III - IV. The students of classes VI - VIII showcased their scientific and technological calibre through various posters, slogans, posters, portrait sketch, models and craft items and power presentation etc. Speeches were also made by students of VI- VIII highlighting the remarkable and outstanding contribution of Dr.Kalam. Group discussion organised by the respective class incharges on Zoom of Class IX with the purpose to acquaint the children of life history of 'Missile Man' of India and also highlights the great works as a writer.Students of class X participated whole heartedly in the Quiz organised by the class incharges on Zoom covering various aspects of Kalam' s personality. Discussion on Biography of Sh.A.P.J Abdul Kalam on Zoom was held by the class incharges emphasised on the achievements of Dr.Kalam , giving an eye opening reference to his biographical aspects. Principal Upasna Modgil, exhorted the students to follow simplicity and aim high like Abdul Kalam.
